This is a campaign organized by a youth group from FGA..

The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness of why there

isn't enough LOVE going around in this world..

We did a trial test of it yesterday..

We had lots of fun and met all kinds of people..

It really made us think about how people

are always depressed because they feel as if

no one in the world cares for them..

And what we can do to make this world a better place

to live in, filled with loving people..

When theres love,

There wouldn't be WAR,

There wouldn't be SUICIDE,

There wouldn't be HOMELESS children.

God has given us life in this world, shouldn't we at least make an effort to make this world a better place? So let us do our part and show more love to one another.. So people would know that there IS at least ONE person out there who can love them when they feel like NOBODY can EVER love them..

10 Things You Should Not Do During Ice Skating

1. DO NOT get near people who's pants are wet.

Reason:

Cause they are the people who falls down all the time. Why else would their pants be WET?? Thus when they fall they'll probably pull you down along to the wet ice.

2.DO NOT go near the ice hockey guys.

Reason:

When they stop they'll do it with the sound 'ssshhhkkk'. The sound is annoying cause you cant stop the way they stop. You just bang into the transparent plastic case while they stop pro-ly. And if they so happen to dont like you, when they stop, they'll probably spray ice onto your face.

3.DO NOT tie your skating shoes' laces loose.

Reason:

I use to think that maybe if i dont tie it so tight, i can avoid having blisters. WRONG! The looser you tie it, the more chances of you having blisters. And they hurt like crap!! But dont tie it TOO tight either. Cause that'll stop your blood from flowing into your toes and you'll end up with numb-feeling toes. Which by the way does not feel comfortable at all.

4.DO NOT wear only ONE pair of socks while skating.

Reason:

Again its the blister problem. And once again i tell you.. It really really really really HURTS. For a long time too.

5.If you do get blisters, DO NOT let your socks cover over your blister.

Reason:

The socks will get stuck to your blister. And when you try to pull the socks away from your blister, you're gonna need to bite on something or scream like crazy. Cause that hurts even MORE than just getting blisters. I'm telling you from a first-hand experience mind you..!

6.DO NOT wear skirts or short pants while skating.

Reason:

Basically thats just a really stupid thing to do. Cause first, if you're wearing a skirt or a dress, when you fall, EVERYTHING can be seen. I dont think i need to explain what the everything is right..? And if you're wearing shorts, when you fall, you'll probably scrape your knees a lot. You could also bleed. Besides those reasons, HELLO?? You're in an ice skating rink for goodness sakes! Dont you feel cold wearing only those little thin fabrics??

7.DO NOT wear winter scarfs.

Reason:

It just makes you look real stupid.

8.When you fall, DO NOT let your fingers sprawl out on the ground.

Reason:
Oh its nothing serious or anything. You'll probably just lose a few fingers thats all.

9.DO NOT lose your balance around a group of people who CANT skate.

Reason:

Since they dont know how to skate like at all, when you stumble a little and accidentally pushed ONE of them and that one person falls and accidentally falls onto someone else, the rest of them will fall together. And in the end, you're the ONLY person that remained standing. Then all eyes will fall on you like its all your fault and you will feel extremely embarrased.

10.DO NOT try to skate fast if you cant skate all that well.

Reason:

When you try to go fast this is what will happen.

First people will go "ooooh!! aaaahhh!! so faasssttt!! sooo cooooll!"

Then when you slip and fall flat on your ass or worse, your face, everybody will start laughing their asses off at you cause you looked like a show off idiot.

And when the ice hockey guys gets pissed off at you for being a show off, you're gonna start eating the ice they spray at your face.

But most importantly, the ONE thing you MUST DO when you go ice skating is, go with your FAVOURITE friends. Cause they are the ones who'll help you up when you fall down instead of laughing at you or gets embarrased that you fell and skates away. They are also the ones that'll make you laugh and have a great time together with you.

Oh my goodness.. Having my laptop taken away for a WEEK torturous!!!

And all because i played till after 12.30 am when my mum said only up to 12 sharp..

Ive been rotting at home with absolutely NOTHING to do.. Except watch tv.. And watch tv.. And watch tv.. Oh at least there was Guitar Hero..!! Thank God for whoever created the game..!

I am now constantly looking at the time after the terrible experience of having my laptop taken away from meee.. I keep reminding myself to off before 12.. Oh how parents torture their kids..

15 more minutes to 12 am. 10 more minutes to 12 am. 5 more minutes to 12 am.

Phos Camp Of Year 2008

There's only one word i can use to describe this camp experience.. It's AWESOME.. Like seriously seriously awesomeee.. Sure we got tortured like crazy by Douglas, Uncle Charles(aka Pastor Charles) and Uncle Nick.. What with their serious, terrifying faces like they're about to eat us alive and Douglas' seriously tiring games (when it's Douglas' games you're taking part in, you can never know what that crazily-smart-brain of his is thinking about).. But its such an awesome feeling when you see all the younger kids closing their eyes and praying to God.. It's also so much FUN when we can all stay in one building and can just talk to each other all day longg.. At the end of this camp i have also realised how awesome our leaders can beee.. To think that they are willing to sacrifice so much just for us to have fun together really makes me think how lucky we are to have them in our Phos Youth..


And now that camp has ended... I feel soooo depressedd.. Cause it's like we all stay so far away from our friends and we can only see each other like twice a week.. And there's so little to do now that we have no more tasks given by the leaders to us like in the camp.. And there's no more Pastor Jacob to tell us funny jokes while preaching.. I miss the silly song he sings when he makes us pretend that we are going out shopping with him when he's making an example.. And i miss the way he likes to interact with the younger kids while playing 'wolf' and just randomly asking us questions about our lives..


But all in all, I've had a great time with my friends and getting to know them better.. Although it was tiring (mentally and physically) I don't regret going to this camp at all.. It's an experience nothing else can ever give meee.. =)

Trip to Penang during the Hols

I know it's kinda late of me to blog about this trip.. But, what the heck.. =D


Anyway, we had an awesome time theree.. We ate lots and LOTS of yummy food!!! And of course, i took lots of pictures too.. Ha Ha.. Scroll down for some awesome pics and it'll show you our entire trip..!

And we were all sharing about why being patient is so painful and stuff like that..

Chee Wai :"Eugene, how would you feel when you're going to play football and it suddenly rains? And what would you do? You would probably start cursing right..?"


Eugene :"I would be angry and then i would say 'Rain rain go away, come again another day' ..."


Chee Wai :"Ha Ha Ha!! Oh you would say 'Rain rain come again, go away another day'..."

Charity :"Oh oh oh!!! I know i knowwww!!!! The answer's a bank isn't it??"

Charity :"Uhm uhm.......................... Ahhh!!! Ambank!!" *feels proud for getting the answer*

Shocked to see me blog?? Well okayy, I'll tell you how I'm able to even USE the computer. It's Friday night and i have an EST (English Science Technology) exam tomorrow morning. And our teacher gave us tips that the essay would be about carbon dioxide. So i asked my parents to use the comp so that i can do a research. I was NOT suppose to do any other things. But you see, ah I couldn't resist!! Ha Ha! So here I am blogging while my parents are downstairs watching TV, thinking their oh-so-good-daughter's doing her research for her exam. HUSH PEOPLE HUSHH!

Well, as most of you should know. Trials and SPM are coming nearer.. So i probably wont be able to update my blog for quite a while. Yeah. It's like i have to stop living my life for a few months. Don't worry though! SPM will be over in no time. Then i can live my life again. With SPM done!! whee! And until then? Goodbye to my social life. If i have the chance, i'll try to blog. So later people..

After 12 long years

After moving to Canada, our dear childhood friends have finally came back for a visit to their 'dear' old country, Malaysia. Usually only their dad came back for business trips and stuff. But this time, its both the girls and their mum who came back. So we took them to 1 Utama for a walk and for lunch.

After lunch, we walked around awhile and met up with Eshia, Selishia and aunty Cindy at Forever 21. Then we headed to The Curve for dinner. We ate at TGIF.

After dinner, we headed home. And omg. The traffic was terrible. We had to wait in the car for like half an hour to reach elaine's house. After we have FINALLY reached home, we hanged around for a bit in her living room. Then Claudia asked us to try a canadian macaroni. So she went and cooked it.

-Shy old Eugene sat at the corner of the kitchen alone with his bowl of macaroni-



After the macaroni, we went upstairs to watch a movie. And eventually everyone fell asleep before the movie ended besides me. And that was the end of our day out. Everyone had fun and it was great to see our canadian friends again. Hopefully we'll see them again soon. =)
