A way to deal with annoying siblings without strangling them

Having problems with annoying siblings?? Well here's a solution to your problems that might actually work!!

Does these scenes sound familiar to you? If it does, you're probably facing the same situations at home.

*Scene #1* (In a car.. It's now 1pm)

Joash :"I'm using the comp first when we get home!"

Charity :"Fine.. We each play two hours okay? You play until 3 i play until 5.. Fair and square."

Joash :"Fine."

*2 hours later*

Charity :"It's my turn now. It's 3 o'clock."

Joash :"No. I want to play longer."

Charity :"No! We already discussed this just now! It's my turn to play until 5!"

Joash :"So?? I want to play longer!"

Charity :*Gets pissed off and complains to dad*
"Dad! You see joash! It's suppose to be my turn now! But he doesn't want to let me
play!"

Dad :"Joash let your sister play! And I'm warning you guys ah! Fight somemore everyone cannot

play!!" *slams the door shut*

Charity :"Hear that?? Now get off."

Joash :"No!!!" *starts cursing all kinds of bad words (bilingual)*

Charity :"Grrrrrr!!! *jumps at brother and tries to strangle him* Get out of the chair! It's my
turn!"

Joash :"No!! Shut up and get lostt!! %$@#@* " *Pulls sister's hair*

*Scene #2* (A typical day at home watching TV)

*Joash watching HBO*

Charity :"Hey let me watch my show. Your show will be repeated tomorrow. I checked for you."

Joash :"No. I'm watching now."

Charity :"But your show will be repeated! Mine wont! Please please pleasseeeeeeee my dear
beloved brother!*inside her head :"Yuck! Gag! Beloved my foot! Patience Charity..*

*fakes a sweet smile*

Joash :"I don't care. I want to watch today."

Charity :"*Thinking :"Okay, being nice is obviously not working. Time to change tactics!!"
*starts screaming at brother* "Woi you better let me watch ah you freak! I told you
yours will be repeated! So why on earth can't you let me watch my show??!!"

Joash :*Screams even louder* "Coz I'm watching lah stupid!"

*Both starts fighting for the remote*

Charity :*Takes hold of remote with joash taking hold of the other end of the remote and
growls* "GRRRR!! LETT GOOO!!"

Joash :"NO YOU LET GOOO!"

*And since Charity is obviously the bigger and stronger one she got the remote*

Charity :"Hah!! Loser!" *sticks her tongue out at joash*

Joash :"Fine!! If I can't watch, I'm not gonna let you watch either!" *Turns off the main switch
of the TV*

Charity :"WOI!!! TURN IT BACK ON!!" *rushes to joash and turns the switch back on*

*Joash turns it off again*
*Charity turns it on again*
*Joash turns it off again*
*On. Off. On. Off. On. Off. On. Off. On. Off.*

Charity :"GAH!!! Stop it you stupid boy!!

Joash :"Noo, you stop it you stupid girl!"

*Charity pushes Joash aside*

*Joash pushes Charity aside too*

Charity :"Fine!! Don't watch lah! You also cannot watch!"

*Sits down. Remote still in hand*

*Joash turns on TV and controls the astro through the machine thing*

*Charity turns off the astro through remote*

*Joash turns it on again and blocks the astro machine to keep Charity from turning it off*

*Charity turns off the TV through the TV remote*

*Joash runs upstairs to take a blanket*

*Joash stands right in front of the TV and covers himself and the TV with the blanket*

*Charity thinks :"Oh he's not so dumb after all!"*

*Charity still tries to turn off the TV again by aiming the remote at various angles.*

*Charity realizes that its not quite working and starts taunting Joash*

Charity :"Yeah stand nearer somemore lah! After when you're eyesight gets worse and have to
wear glasses I'll laugh my head off! Hah!"

Do you realize that these kind of situations always seem to be happening between you and your siblings? And have you ever wondered what you can do to handle these situations without killing each other? Some of you might probably just go for the usual solutions such as complaining to your parents. Or some of you even use phisycal violence to make your siblings scared of you. And some just ignores their siblings. But let me tell you. Those solutions might only makes things worse.


The BEST solution to these problems is to PRAY for your siblings!! Trust me it really works!!


*Replay of scene #1 using the prayer method* (at the part where Joash insists that he play longer)

Joash :"No. Iwant to play longer."

Charity :"No! We already discussed this just now! It's my turn to play until 5!"

Joash :"So?? Iwant to play longer."

*Charity takes a deep breath to calm herself down. She lays her hands on Joash and starts praying for him aloud*

Charity :"Our dear Father in heaven.. I want to thank you for my dear little brother here.. I
pray Lord that you will forgive him his sins against you O'Lord. That he will repent on
his sins and learn to be fair just like you Father.. And Father i also want to ask you for
your forgiveness for letting the anger take over me. I pray that you will help me to be
patient and calm Lord and do what is right in your eyes.. Amen.."

You might wonder what the ending to that scene be.. That i cannot answer you as each person will react differently. Some might just go on being horrible and some might actually feel guilty for being so mean.

But whatever the outcome, you have done your part well by praying for that person instead of trying to strangle each other or complaining to your parents. If you feel uncomfortable praying aloud, you can just pray quietly in your heart. After you have read this post, try using this solution everytime you're about to scream your head off at your siblings for annoying you. Trust me, not only will you feel better. You will also learn how to get on with your family better than ever. And you will also be relieving your parents of stress and therefore creating a happier family! Isn't that a better outcome than to have a family who fights with each other all the time? Isn't it tiring to have to fight all the time? So do it the right way if you want to have a better life and start PRAYING!

Yes im damn bored noww.. Coz i'm in chermayne's house now and i'm using her laptop. Well basically it's her dad's. But whatever. Soooo... I'M BOREEEDDDD!!!............ Okay we decided to go to the park. Random.. ;D Adios!!

Father's Day

Father's Day on Sunday went great.. Lots of perfomance.. Enjoy..! =D

These are pictures of everyone's performance..

-The toddlers performance-

Arent they cute?? They kept singing "Daddy Loves me" and all the fathers "oohhh-ed and awww-ed" The entire performance.. ;D

-The youth kids-

At first they talked about what Dads usually say to kids.. Examples are like when you ask your dad something,they'll say "Go ask your mother" or "See first"(which usually means NO).. Then they started talking about kids who dont have fathers and how they're always so poor that they go hungry all the time.

-The youth performance(actually its just us girls)-

Me,Amelia and Selishia were singing while Chermayne and Yee Teng played the guitar. We sang My Hero by Paramore, we-Chermayne and me-changed the lyrics to make it sound like it was talking about fathers instead of lovers. The entire performance, i was looking outside the window and my legs were actually shaking after we got down from the stage(I have this thing about having to stand in front of a big crowd). While we were singing, a slideshow of our baby pictures with our dads were played on the screen behind us. Our dads laughed and thats why i was covering my face in the picture above. They were showing a pic of me and my dad when i was really small and my hair was tied up in pigtails. ;D

Then the dads were called up onto the stage to receive presents.

-They got shampoos, gel and some other stuff-

During the slideshow for our performance, there was a part where Chermayne and Yee Teng continued to play the guitar and videos were played on the screen..

-yeah real cheesy, I know-

All in all, it was a great Sunday.. We did our best and we were awesome.. And the dads were happy.. And when they're happy, we're happy.. ;D
